Nagaland University invites applications from CUET-UG 2026 for FYUGP B.Sc. Honors programs in five scientific disciplines; Applications close on July 15

Nagaland University has started the admission process for its four-year undergraduate program (FYUGP) in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) for the academic session 2026-27 through CUET-UG 2026. The online application window is open until July 15, 2026 for candidates seeking admission to Honors and Honors with Research programs in five scientific disciplines.Admissions will be conducted by the University’s Multidisciplinary Research Center (MDRC) under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The selection process will be based on candidates’ CUET-UG 2026 scores and Class XII examination performance, subject to the eligibility criteria set by the respective academic departments. Applications can be submitted through the University’s admissions portal https://admission.nagalanduniversity.ac.in.Five science disciplines offered under FYUGPThe FYUGP offers B.Sc. Honors and Honors with research programs in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology. According to the University, the curriculum follows the NEP 2020 framework, providing undergraduate students with opportunities for academic and research specialization.Admissions will be granted strictly on merit. Candidates must fulfill the academic eligibility requirements specified by the concerned departments in addition to qualifying through CUET-UG 2026.Admission schedule and required documentationThe online application process started on July 1, 2026 and will conclude on July 15, 2026. The shortlisted candidates will be released by the University on July 16, 2026. The shortlisted candidates’ admissions will take place from July 17 to July 20, 2026, while the waitlisted admissions are scheduled between 23, 21 and 20 of JulyApplicants must upload a recent passport size photograph and signature, Class X Admit Card and Slip, Class XII Admit Card and Slip, CUET-UG Marks Card, Transfer Certificate and other applicable documents including Caste, Disability, Backward Tribe or Gap certificates, wherever applicable.Reservation policy and campus facilitiesAllotment of seats will be done as per University reservation policy covering Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Sports Quota, Employee Quota and Unreserved (UR) categories.The University stated that students admitted to the program will have access to laboratories, digital library resources, Wi-Fi enabled campus facilities, e-learning support, sports infrastructure, career counselling, placement assistance, cafeteria services and a health centre.For inquiries related to admission, candidates can contact the Multidisciplinary Research Center through the details provided by the University.
