NEW DELHI: England named an unchanged playing XI for the third T20I against India at Trent Bridge on Tuesday. Harry Brook’s side will go into the match with a 1-0 lead in the five-match series after beating India by four wickets at Old Trafford. The opening T20I was washed out due to rain.

England are looking for another win

England chased down 191 in the second T20I despite a poor start. Arshdeep Singh removed Phil Salt and Jos Buttler for ducks in the opener to leave the hosts reeling at 1/2.Captain Brook hit a quickfire 39 off 12 balls before Jacob Bethell and Tom Banton rebuilt the innings with a crucial partnership. Banton scored 39, while Bethell remained unbeaten on 76 off 46 balls, hitting five fours and five sixes.India fought back through Arshdeep and Varun Chakaravarthy, but Bethell turned the game in England’s favor by taking 29 runs off a Ravi Bishnoi. He then finished the chase with Jofra Archer with six balls to spare.England have announced an unchanged playing XI for the third T20I at Trent Bridge.
