JoSAA 2026 advisory Round 3 Allocation Result: The Joint Seat Allotment Authority (JoSAA) will announce the third round seat allotment result for JoSAA 2026 counseling at 5 PM today, 6 July 2026. Candidates who have registered for the counseling process can check the allotment status by logging on to the official portal at josaa.nic.in. Individual seat allotment cards will also be available for download once the results are declared.Candidates for the allotted seats in this round will have to complete the online reporting process within the prescribed schedule. This includes uploading the required documents, paying the seat acceptance fee and answering any verification queries. The reporting period will remain open from July 6 to July 8, while the fee payment must be completed by July 8. Candidates facing fee payment issues or document related queries can reply till 9th July.Online Reporting Schedule after Round 3 AllotmentThe facility to withdraw and exit the seat allocation process will be available from July 7 to July 8. Candidates who respond to queries related to the withdrawal have until July 9 to do so. Admission will be done only after online verification of uploaded documents and completion of admission formalities.After the award, candidates have to select one of the three available options. The floating option allows candidates to accept the allotted seat while remaining eligible for higher preference in subsequent rounds. The Freeze option confirms acceptance of the allotted seat without further participation in counselling. The Slide option allows candidates to retain their allotted institute while searching for a preferred course within the same institution in subsequent rounds.Documents required for verificationCandidates for allotted seats should upload required documents including JEE Main 2026 Admit Card, JEE Advanced 2026 Admit Card if applicable, Mark Card, Class 10 Certificate, Class 12 Mark Sheet, Category Certificate, Passport Size Photographs and Seat Allotment Letter. Admission will proceed after successful online verification followed by final report and fee payment to allotted institute.Six rounds of counseling for admissionsJoSAA Counseling 2026 is being conducted in six rounds for admission in participating institutes. These include IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and other IIT campuses.To access the round 3 allotment result, candidates need to visit the official website, open the round 3 allotment link, login with their application number and password, view the result and download the allotment letter for future reference.
