UGCET 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued an important notification for the candidates applying for the Higher Education Common Entrance Test (UGCET) 2026 through the authority. Students whose Class 12 marks have been revised after the 2026 revaluation process must submit a copy of their updated mark card to KEA for ranking consideration.The notice applies to students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and other state examination boards.According to KEA, candidates should submit a copy of their Class 12 Marks Card checked in person to the KEA office in Malleswaram, Bangalore on any of the following dates:
- July 4, 2026
- July 5, 2026
- July 6, 2026
KEA office is located at 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bangalore.
Revised marks will be verified before rank update
The authority has clarified that the revised marks will be considered only after they are verified through the candidate’s DigiLocker account. After completion of the verification process, KEA will determine or update the merit rank of the candidate accordingly.
The KEA office will remain open on Sunday
To help students complete the process, KEA has also announced that it will accept submissions on Sunday, July 5, despite it being a public holiday.Candidates who have received revised class 12 marks after re-evaluation are advised to visit KEA office with their updated mark card within the given dates to ensure that their revised marks are taken into account while preparing or updating the UGCET 2026 merit ranking.
