TSLPRB Notification 2026: Telangana government has approved to fill 5000 vacancies in police department through direct recruitment. The recruitment process will be conducted by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) as per the government orders issued after reviewing the staff requirements.The approval was issued by the finance department (HRM.VII) after an assessment of personnel requirements under the administrative control of the Director General of Police (DGP). According to media reports, the government has directed the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) to get all necessary recruitment details from the home department and DGP before issuing the recruitment notification and exam schedule at the earliest.Vacancies by cadre have been approvedAccording to the government order, the sanctioned vacancies cover various ranks and specialized units within the police department. The recruitment includes 148 posts of Sub-Inspector (Civil), 14 posts of Sub-Inspector (Armed Reserve), 12 posts of Reserve Sub-Inspector in Telangana Special Police and three posts of Sub-Inspector in Special Armed Reserve Police Central Lines.
