Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan was questioned by Customs officials as part of an ongoing investigation into the smuggling of luxury cars. According to the latest reports, the actor and filmmaker has not yet requested the temporary release of the remaining vehicles.Earlier, Dulquer Salmaan appeared before the authorities on July 1 and was questioned for almost four hours. According to a report in The Hindu, Mr. Dulquer has not yet requested the temporary release of the remaining vehicles. They also want information about luxury cars connected to the investigation. It is also said that the actor may be asked to produce some of the luxury cars he owns in front of the investigators.

It is said that authorities have also questioned the ‘I’m Game’ actor about several luxury cars that are being investigated. He previously received a temporary release for two of the four vehicles seized during the investigation. The investigation is being carried out under Operation Numkoor, a nationwide investigation into luxury car smuggling.According to Dulquer’s request, one of the vehicles is a 2004 Land Rover Defender. The petition states that the vehicle was legally admitted through a home entry document issued by the ICRC as the consignee.
Dulquer Salmaan raises concerns about publicity
In his petition, Dulquer Salmaan also said that the media coverage of the robbery had affected his image. The petition said, “Publicity was given in the media for the well-known reasons for the seizure, and the vehicle was shown as if it was among other vehicles used for smuggling, drug transport, theft, and anti-government activities.
