AIIMS CRE-5 Recruitment 2026: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi today closes the online application process for the Common Recruitment Examination (CRE-5) 2026. The recruitment drive is underway for 1,484 non-faculty Group B and Group C regular posts in participating AIIMS institutions and other Central Government institutes and agencies. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility conditions can complete the registration process through the official online portal before the application window closes.The Detailed Recruitment Advertisement (DRA) for AIIMS CRE-5 2026 was released on 13 June 2026 and the online application process opened on the same day. As per the notification, only applications will be accepted till 5:00 PM today. The recruitment exam will be conducted by the examination section of AIIMS New Delhi under notification number 93/2026.Recruitment schedule and exam detailsThe Computer Based Test (CBT) for AIIMS CRE-5 is scheduled to be conducted from July 25 to July 27, 2026. The status of the submitted application forms will be available on July 11, while candidates required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) will have to do so by July 8.The recruitment is done through an online application process available on the official AIIMS exam website. Candidates must complete the registration, fill the application form, upload the prescribed photograph, signature and thumb impression, pay the applicable fee and submit the form before the deadline. Applicants are also advised to retain the registration form and payment slip for future reference.Vacancies, eligibility and application feeThe recruitment covers 1,484 vacancies in various Group B and Group C posts. The official notification states that candidates should check further recruitment details for educational qualifications and age requirements.The online registration closing date of 3rd July 2026 will be treated as the crucial date for determining age eligibility. Age relaxation will be applied for reserved and special categories as per recruitment advertisement.The application fee is 3,000 ? for general and OBC candidates, while SC, ST and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 2,400. People with disabilities are exempt from paying the application fee.Selection processThe selection process includes a computer-based test, followed by an aptitude test wherever applicable. Merit list will be prepared as per prescribed scheme after which candidates will complete choice and preference filling before document verification.
