Abhishek Bachchan made his debut with JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ in 2000, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan. Since then, the actor has come a long way, from delivering back-to-back flops to making path-breaking films like ‘Guru’. Since last few years, there has been a big change in terms of Bachchan’s choices and attitude. Be it ‘Breathing: In the Shadows’ or ‘Ghoomer’, ‘I Want to Talk’ or ‘Dasvi’. As Abhishek completes 26 years in the industry today, when asked about the changes for him as an actor, he said in an interview with ETimes, “The only thing that has changed is being comfortable. I think when I started, there were a few difficulties. But now, I feel comfortable being in front of the camera. ” He added, “When you are just yourself and comfortable in your own skin, that makes you clear about the decisions you have to make. I am clear today, or I would say in the last five to seven years, which I did not want to do at that time. In the beginning in your work there is such joy, there is such insecurity in kaam milega, whatever you do.” Abhishek said that he is well aware of the type of work he wants to do today. “I understand at this moment, at this moment I don’t want to do this. This means that I really want to do this. So, there is a great passion in it and it comes from a certain maturity and calmness. I think this helps in your work as well. We are not available anywhere, I want to believe.” When asked about not having any insecurities, she said, “I have never been an insecure actor about yeh kya kar raha hai. Insecure about my skills, yes. I think all actors are ..about, ‘Will I be able to do this?’ Abhishek added that the responsibility of the actor’s performance lies with the director. During the interview, the actor was also accompanied by Shoojit Sircar and when asked if he thought Abhishek did justice to his role in “I Want To Talk”, the actor laughed, “That’s a tough one, you can’t ask him.” He added, “You can’t ask him that, because he agreed. It’s not me. Actors get bricks but it’s always the director’s fault (laughs). He’s the one who decides if it’s right.” On the work front, Abhishek is currently shooting Shah Rukh Khan‘The King’. The actor was recently spotted at the airport with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya while out in the city.
