ENG vs NZ, Third Test Live Score. Nathan Smith, Foulkes lead New Zealand’s bowling effort
New Zealand’s bowling attack effectively shared the workload as England’s innings fell apart on Day 3. Nathan Smith was the standout performer, finishing with figures of 4/91 after making key breakthroughs throughout the innings. Will O’Rourke and Zac Foulkes also played big roles by claiming three wickets each. Foulkes, who came into the game as a concussion substitute for Blair Tickner on Friday, made an immediate impact on the wicket of Ben Stokes before later dismissing Harry Brook on 58 by cutting his stumps. O’Rourke removed Jacob Bethell after the left-hander looked for a bigger score. Their combined efforts ensured that England did not erase New Zealand’s first innings advantage. Instead, the visitors took an 84-run lead, very similar to the 100-run advantage they enjoyed at The Oval before winning the Test by 253 runs.
