“Friends” stars Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid, best known for being part of the popular ‘Snow Patrol,’ called it quits. According to recent reports, the couple broke up after being together for the past 13 years.

The Daily Mail reports that Cox and McDaid have officially separated. The two first met in 2013 and have been together ever since, except for a brief split in 2015. The report said that the 62-year-old and the 49-year-old broke up last year, and it was a mutual decision.The two had separate lives, which led to their separation after being together for about 13 years. There were no problems between them, and the separation was amicable.A statement from the report about their breakup read, “Johnny speaks very highly of Courteney. They had a very deep relationship, and are still very much in love. They are great friends and care deeply about each other. This was not an ugly split. They had just gotten to the point where they were living separate lives.” McDaid is already in the beginning of another relationship, since both of them have separated.Nothing else was shared about what happened between the two. At the time of writing, neither Cox nor McDaid has commented on the matter. The pair were last seen in public in September 2025, after attending the US Open. Besides, Cox wrote about her longtime friend’s birthday in July 2025 and shared a cute post with her.
