JEECUP 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Selection Filling Begins at jeecup.admissions.nic.in
The Joint Admission Examination Council (Polytechnic), Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has started the round 1 counseling process for JEECUP 2026 from 25 June 2026. Eligible candidates can now participate in the counseling process and fill their preferred college and course options through the official website, jeeniccup.admissions.Counseling process is underway for admission to engineering programs and various diploma programs offered by the participating institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Counseling schedule for pharmacy courses will be announced separately.Candidates are advised to complete the process of filling and blocking their selection before the last date of 30 June 2026.
JEECUP 2026 counseling 1st day
According to the official schedule, the first round seat allotment result will be declared on July 1, 2026. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the required admission procedures, including document verification and fee payment, within the stipulated time.

Who is Eligible for JEECUP Counseling 2026?
The following candidates can participate in the counseling process:
- Residents of Uttar Pradesh who appeared for the UPJEE (Polytechnic) 2026 examination.
- Candidates from other states who passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in Uttar Pradesh.
- Children of Central Government employees serving in Uttar Pradesh.
Seat allocation and document verification
Round 1 seat allotment result will be announced on July 1, 2026. Candidates who get a seat can choose ‘Freeze’ option to confirm their allotted seat or ‘Float’ option to be considered for better choice in subsequent rounds.Selected candidates will have to complete the document verification at the designated district help centers between July 2nd and July 5th, 2026. Candidates who do not want to continue with the allotted seat can apply for withdrawal on July 6th, 2026.
