Suneel recalled meeting Nadeem in London, where the singer said he wanted to work again.“Nadeem’s music was making the whole world go crazy listening to it. Once, when I went to London, I met Nadeem. He reminded me that I promised to write for him in my new film. At that time, he had a big problem with work. I told him that we can think about it, but first I have to find out if it is possible,” said the filmmaker in an interview with Hindi Rush. Before surrendering, Suneel said he decided to check if there were any restrictions that would prevent Nadeem from working. He also asked the police to explain to him.“I investigated the matter and asked the police if they could work. The chief of police then told me that there is no authority over intelligence. At that time, Nadeem welcomed a child. He put his hand on the child’s head and said, ‘I will not make false promises to my child. He is my only child.’ He told me that he was not involved in murder. After that, I believed him, “Suneel Darshan he said.Convinced by Nadeem’s assurance, Suneel wrote ‘Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love’ for him. We finished seven songs in one day. Because of that, we did a meeting for the eighth song the next day. It was a lot of fun working with him.”Their professional association continued over the years, with Nadeem composing music for several Suneel Darshan films, including ‘Haan Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya’, ‘Jeevansathi’, ‘Barsaat’, ‘Andaaz’ and ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’.Nadeem Saifi is said to have been in the United Kingdom on holiday when Gulshan Kumar was shot dead outside a temple in Mumbai in 1997. He was later named as the key figure in the murder investigation, prompting Indian authorities to investigate him leaving the UK. After a long debate, the British court rejected India’s request for extradition, stating that “the crime of murder and conspiracy was not committed in good faith and in the interest of justice.”
