The wait for the trailer of ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is almost over. After postponing the expected launch earlier this month, the makers have officially announced a new release date. Producer Namit Malhotra confirmed that the trailer will be released worldwide on Thursday, July 30, during the Brahma Muhurat.The announcement has created excitement among fans, who have been eagerly awaiting the first glimpse of the legendary singing legend. The trailer which will be launched in Brahma Muhurat
Namit Malhotra shared the update through his Instagram account, revealing the date and time the trailer was launched. The trailer will go live at 4:15 AM IST, a very important spiritual time.Sharing the announcement, the producer wrote, “On the auspicious Brahma Muhurat, we welcome the dawn of Ramayana with our trailer on 30 July 2026, Thursday at 4:15 AM IST worldwide.”

However, the makers later postponed the digital launch, leaving fans waiting for an official announcement.Explaining the reason behind the delay, Namit Malhotra shared, “Today is a very special time for our ‘Ramayana’, my dream of taking Ramayana to the world has now come true with our partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. Considering the above, we will be launching our trailer now globally in the future.”During the hiatus, footage believed to be from the trailer surfaced online several times. The downloaded images quickly spread across X (formerly Twitter), with many fans asking the production team to release the version instead.
A star-studded cast leads the epic
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, ‘Ramayana’ is being made as part of a two-part series based on Indian history. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The cast also includes Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi, Arun Govil, and Rakul Preet Singh in pivotal roles.The first part, ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, is scheduled to hit the theaters in Diwali 2026. The second part will follow during Diwali 2027.
