The latest news comes as the pair continue to battle their divorce battle in family court. According to The Indian Express, Aarti has approached the court to receive Rs 40 lakh per month until the case is heard. The court heard both sides and rejected the petition. It imposed an interim deposit of Rs 3 lakh per month, which Ravi Mohan has to pay till the case is decided. This law is a major part of the most famous divorce case in Tamil cinema.

Ravi Mohan was allowed to meet the sons without restrictions

Apart from the financial issue, the court also spoke about the couple’s two sons, Aarav and Ayaan. The Family Rights Court said that the children should not have contact with their father. The order comes months after Ravi Mohan publicly said that he was not allowed to interact with his sons. She said that Aarti did not allow her to meet the children, sent them to school with the security, and failed to inform her when they met with the car accident. Ravi had previously said that it hurt him a lot to hear about the accident from other people and he could not see his children even though he was worried.

The long-running legal battle continues as the next phase begins

Ravi Mohan and Aarti, who got married in June 2009, were together for almost 15 years before their relationship ended. In September 2024, the actor announced that he was divorced citing irreconcilable differences. Later Aarti said that she took the decision without knowing. Since then, the matter has been in the public eye with topics related to custody disputes, custody and personal allegations. The latest court order has fixed the maintenance amount for now and is paving the way for Ravi Mohan to meet his sons. But the main issue of divorce is waiting to be decided after the trial.
