After three years, the Tollywood actor Akhil Akkineni has made a big comeback with ‘Lenin’ and in a recent appearance, he opened up about his desire to do a promotional film for ‘Sisindri’. Although Akhil was eight or nine months old when the film was made, he said it continues to be a joy for him and his family. The actor recalled that he was too young to understand filmmaking at that time. Akhil also talked about how ‘Sisindri’ was filmed as a baby. He remembered that he was only awake for a few hours each day, and the entire shooting schedule was carefully planned for those short moments when he was active and relaxed.The artist recalled how his parents helped filmmakers capture nature on camera. After the first viewing, he realized that some aspects were not working as expected and he discussed his concerns with the people around him.He said, “Didn’t I realize that it wasn’t working when I looked at the first update or saw the events? Yes I did. I had my doubts. I knew something wasn’t right, of course before it was released. I shared those concerns with people, even with our other two friends. I told them that they felt different.”
Why walking away was not an option
Although he recognized the difficulties early on, Akhil said quitting the project was not the right decision. He explained that filmmaking is a work involving hundreds of people, and he believes it is his responsibility to remain committed to the end.
