UP PCS 2026: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has extended the last date to apply online for Combined State / Higher Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026 (General/Special Recruitment) till 3rd August. The recruitment drive is going on for 500 vacancies and the online application process started on 25th June 2026, after the release of the official notification.Candidates who wish to apply must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process before submitting the application form. The deadline for payment of examination fee and submission of online application has been extended to August 3. Candidates may make corrections or modifications to submitted applications and complete fee reconciliation until August 10.Eligibility, vacancies and application feeThe recruitment offers 500 vacancies under the Combined State / Higher Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026. Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized institution. The prescribed age limit is 21 to 40 years as on 1st July 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the mentioned in the official notification.The total application fee is Rs 125 for candidates belonging to UR, OBC and EWS categories. SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 65 while ex-servicemen also have to pay Rs 65. PWDs need to pay online processing fee of Rs 25 only.Selection process and application procedureThe selection process includes a preliminary examination, a main written examination, an interview, document verification and a medical examination.To complete the application process, candidates must first complete the One Time Registration and obtain the OTR number. Then they have to authenticate their details on the commission website, fill the online application form, pay the prescribed examination fee through approved online payment methods and submit the application. Candidates are advised to keep a hard copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
