India moved up to eighth in the Commonwealth Games medal standings after bagging six medals on Day 5, taking its total tally to 10 medals with two gold, five silver, and three bronze.Australia continued to dominate the table with 59 medals (26 gold, 13 silver and 20 bronze), while England remained second with 32 medals. Canada occupies third place with 21 medals, followed by Nigeria (10) and Scotland (11). South Africa and Malaysia tied with 11 medals each, with India close behind with 10. Jamaica finished in the top 9 with two gold medals, while New Zealand completed the top 10 with eight medals.
