Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Jana Nayagan’ is doing well with a strong performance at the box office which was released on July 23. Directed by H Vinoth, the political drama film is currently in its first weekend, new numbers show that it has a record opening.

According to estimates shared with trade analyst Sacnilk, ‘Jana Nayagan’ is currently crossing 6,576 shows with 38.8% occupancy and has collected Rs 14.86 crore so far.‘Jana Nayagan’ has taken the all India collection to Rs 107.21 crore. The film’s collection in India has also increased to Rs 125.88 crore.

The story of the Tamil Prime Minister Vijaythis movie is like an event for his fans in the state. The Tamil version is still the biggest contributor to collections and theater availability.The live numbers for the Tamil version show that it has made Rs 13.05 crore with 3,468 shows. The number tracking page also shows that ‘Jana Nayagan’ had 66% viewership this morning.On the other hand, the Hindi version made Rs 1.30 lakh with 2,480 shows. However, the numbers were low among the Telugu audience as it collected Rs 51 lakh from 628 shows.

‘Jana Nayagan’ has also done well in foreign markets. By the end of Day 3, the film had collected Rs 20 crore, taking the overseas total to Rs 63.50 crore and the worldwide collection to Rs 171.84 crore.
