Around one million students took the SAY and improvement examsApproximately 1,000,000 students registered for the Kerala Plus Two SAY and Improvement Exams 2026. The exam was held for students who were looking for another chance to qualify or improve their performance after the annual board results.Students must achieve a minimum of 30% marks or a grade of D+ in the final and aggregate examination to meet the qualifying standard for higher education.Kerala Plus Two Main Exam 2026 Performance DetailsThe Mains Plus Two examination recorded an overall pass percentage of 77.97%, with 2,90,381 students qualifying out of the 3,72,423 candidates who appeared. The pass percentage showed a slight increase compared to 77.81% in 2025.The girls registered a pass percentage of 86.89%, while the boys 68.41%. A total of 60 students achieved a total score of 1,200 out of 1,200 points.Play performance and district in Plus Two examsAmong the academic lines, Science recorded the highest percentage of passes with 84.52%. The Commerce sector recorded 74.74%, while the Humanities sector recorded 66.38%.Idukki district recorded the highest pass average with 84.64%. Kasaragod district recorded the lowest pass average at 71.72% and had the highest number of students appearing for supplementary exams.
