Matthew Needham, riding the success of ‘House of the Dragon,’ is set to take on another role. Deadline recently reported that the actor has been officially chosen to portray the role of the Joker in the upcoming second season of the DC comic series. The casting was confirmed by the production team on Thursday during a presentation at San Diego Comic-Con.Not only that, but the first episode of Season 2 was also screened at the event for a select audience. The group was attended by Producers James Tucker and Geoffrey Thorne, voice stars Hamish Linklater and Jamie Chung, and Matthew Needham himself, who confirmed his presence in the show. Along with the first installment of the series, the studio also released the first official trailer for the video game of the series, titled ‘Batman: Caped Crusader Chronicles.’Both the show and the animated TV series will be released on July 31. The second season of the animated series will be available for fans to stream on Prime Video.
